Our mentorship program consists of a small group of young people with ages from 16 years to 25 years.
The aim of this program is to create a community where young people are truly seen and not just watched, where society understands and accepts its responsibility in meeting the needs of all young people, and where young people bring their gifts back into their communities.
We encourage hard work, good character, independence, career drive, we hold youth conferences and events were social issues are being discussed, offer advice, guidance and Support.

Genesis dedicates its time in making regular visits to schools and engages with the grade 11s and 12's.
Our Starting point is motivational speaking, where we encourage learners to dream big and see beyond their circumstances.
This session also allows us to have relationships with learners on a one on one personal level.
We then move to engaging with the learners in terms of different careers they can follow and the funding available for them.
A continuous supply of all available bursary application forms and forms from different tertiary level institutions is gathered on regular basis.

Post matric is a programme that is aimed at assisting undergraduate students through their studies. Help may come in a form of financial aid (whether it maybe for accommodation, food, school equipment, school tuition or securing of such financial aid), guidance and whichever assistance they may need.

The programme starts off at matric level, by helping pupils that are interested in furthering their studies , to a higher qualification whether it may be in a university, college etc. assisting matriculates by making them aware of , varsity, courses and ways of applying to these. Once pupils have identified potentials courses, assistance in application is given, in whatever means possible.

Once pupils are accepted in the relevant higher education institutions, from point of registration to securing accommodation and tuition fees is organised. As the year proceeds marks are monitored, if assistance by pupils is needed regarding studies this is organized.

We have dedicated our time to provide help where the need is greatest.
All year round we continuously collect clothes and non-perishable foods from volunteers.
Disadvantaged families are then identified and are given clothes and food according to their needs.

This programme has been running since 2013, initially it was just sanitary towel campaign where we would collect pads from donors and distribute to schools that had the most need. While we were distributing sanitary pads at schools we realized that the need for pads was not the only need, but young girls and boys needed to be taught the Importance of personal hygiene, and we realized that it is not just young girls we needed to focus on .

This programme is primarily dedicated to tackle issues that are of an emergency and unpredictable that arises from the community.
As one of the few NPC’s in our area we often receive requests seeking urgent help or donations of some sort.
This programme was established for that reason, to be able to cater for certain needs that the members of the community might have.
